A key part of Southern Nigeria’s culture is their food. Maggi’s brand-new cooking show “O Setigo” brings together 12 contestants from Anambra, Enugu, Owerri, Port harcourt, Delta and Imo state to compete for the grand prize of N1 million in a MasterChef style competition.
The show which premiers on the 12th of June is aimed at showcasing the best of southern dishes and encouraging young Nigerians to explore exciting ways to cook and enjoy the food they love and believe in everyday.
For 6 weeks, the contestants will showcase their culinary skills and creativity while sharing flavor-rich recipes made with fresh ingredients and great MAGGI products. The elimination phase of the cooking show will see two contestants evicted weekly. The top 3 contestants will then battle it out in the kitchen for the grand prize of N1 million. They will be judged by top celebrities; Noble Igwe, Alex Asogwa Amuche, Chef Linda Chinyere and the show anchored by Uzor Osimpka.
